Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk (undiluted)
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers (about 64)
- 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1/3 c. brandy
Method
- In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine milk and chocolate pieces.
- Cook, stirring over medium heat until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth and thickened.
- Remove from heat.
- Add crushed wafers, sugar, 1/2 cup pecans and brandy, mixing well.
- Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
- Shape into 1-inch balls.
- Roll in remaining pecans.
- Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
