Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk (undiluted)
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers (about 64)
  • 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/3 c. brandy

Method

  • In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine milk and chocolate pieces.
  • Cook, stirring over medium heat until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth and thickened.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add crushed wafers, sugar, 1/2 cup pecans and brandy, mixing well.
  • Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
  • Shape into 1-inch balls.
  • Roll in remaining pecans.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
