Ingredients

  • 4 whole Artichokes
  • 8 cups Water, Or Enough To Cover The Artichokes And Other Ingredients
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Smashed
  • 2 whole Lemons, Halved, And Juice Squeezed Out Of Halves
  • 2 stalks Celery, Large, Chopped
  • 3 sprigs Bay Leaves
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Method

  • Prepare a large pot of water and add all of the ingredients except the artichokes. Add the lemon juice and the lemon halves.
  • Trim the artichoke stems and leaves, and cut the tops off so the flavor can reach the inside. Add artichokes to the pot of water. Bring water to a boil and boil for 45 minutes until the artichokes are tender. Enjoy!
