Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk
  • 5-1/2 ounces, weight Chewy Caramels

Method

  • Unwrap the caramels and throw them into your pot. Pour in the milk.
  • Cook over medium high heat, stirring often. As you near the end, reduce heat to medium low, do not bring to a boil. Depending on the type of caramels used, this should take about 4-5 minutes.
  • Variations: If you love vanilla, you could also add in a few drops. You could also add a dollop of whipped cream ... but you really don't need it. I just like the smooth, creamy caramel taste.
