Ingredients
- 3 cans whole cranberry sauce
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 6 c. boiling water
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 large apple, diced small
- 1 (No. 2 1/2) can crushed pineapple
- 6 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
- 1 orange, ground
- 1/2 c. chopped English walnuts (optional)
Method
- Heat cranberry sauce, being careful not to scorch.
- Stir gently so as to not break or mash berries.
- Strain, reserving juice.
- Dissolve jello in hot water.
- Add salt and lemon juice. Chill until slightly jelled (enough to mound a little when dropped from spoon).
- Mold in individual molds or one large mold.
