Ingredients

  • 4 lb Short ribs (up to 5)
  • 1/2 c. Shoyu, (soy sauce)
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 2 Tbsp. Toasted sesame seeds (up to 3)
  • 1/8 tsp Dry red pepper
  • 3 x Cloves garlic, chopped (up to 4)
  • 1/2 c. Green onions, minced
  • 1 piece fresh ginger root, grated, 1"x1/2"
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil (up to 2)
  • 1 dsh Pepper

Method

  • Kal Bi Ribs Combine all ingredients except ribs.
  • Mix well.
  • Add in ribs and marinate for several hrs (overnight is best).
  • Turn a few times.
  • Broil on hibachi till well browned (3 or possibly 4 min on each side).
