Ingredients

  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. dark cherry Jell-O
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can blueberries, drained
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 c. prepared whipped topping

Method

  • Dissolve Jell-O in hot water.
  • Add 1 1/2 cups of the pineapple juice.
  • Chill until thick, but not completely set.
  • Add blueberries and pecans.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup Jell-O and mix with whipped topping.
  • Return Jell-O mixture and whipped topping mixture to refrigerator.
  • Chill until completely set.
  • When ready to serve, spread topping mixture over Jell-O mixture and cut into squares.
