Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 2 to 3 c. blueberries (2 cans)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks margarine, melted
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Method

  • Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Spread ingredients in layers: pineapple, blueberries, half of the sugar, to be sprinkled over the berries, dry cake mix, melted margarine and chopped nuts. Sprinkle last half of the sugar over nuts.
  • Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Serve warm or cold.
