Ingredients

  • 4 c. Bisquick baking mixture
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine or butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry filling
  • Glaze

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Mix all ingredients, except pie filling and Glaze. Beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Spread 2/3 of the batter in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Spread pie filling over batter.
  • (Filling may not completely cover batter.)
  • Drop remaining batter by tablespoon onto pie filling. Bake until light brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Drizzle with Glaze while warm.
