Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 3 c. uncooked oats

Method

  • Combine first 4 ingredients in medium pan.
  • Cook over medium heat until it comes to a full, rolling boil.
  • Let boil for 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add vanilla and peanut butter.
  • Stir until
  • well blended.
  • Stir in oats, 1 cup at a time.
  • Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
  • Let sit until firm.
  • Store loosely in airtight containers.
