Ingredients
- 1 c. butter flavored Crisco shortening
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. crunchy peanut butter
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cream shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in peanut butter.
- Stir in dry ingredients.
- Drop by teaspoons into granulated sugar.
- Put on baking parchment lined (or ungreased) cookie sheet.
- Press with back of floured fork to make crisscross. Bake in 350° oven for about 10 minutes.
- Makes 7 dozen cookies.
