Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (16 oz. will also do, must be packed in heavy syrup)
Method
- Stir with wooden spoon (do not beat).
- Grease and flour pan. Bake at 350° in 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 minutes.
- Check closely. Cool cake and frost or powder sugar top.
