- 1 lb. boneless top round steak
- 1 large tomato, diced
- olive oil
- 2 c. broccoli florets
- 1/4 c. sliced green onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. red cooking wine
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
Method
- Slice steak diagonally across grain into thin strips.
- Coat wok with oil and stir-fry steaks until done.
- Remove steak and set aside.
- Coat wok and stir-fry broccoli 3 minutes.
- Add tomato, onion and garlic.
- Cook until broccoli is done.
- In small bowl, mix cornstarch, wine and soy sauce.
- Remove vegetable mixture from wok and put cornstarch mixture into wok; cook until it becomes thick, then add everything back into the wok.
- Mix well and serve over rice.
