Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. undiluted evaporated milk
- 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
- 6 oz. milk chocolate pieces
- 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Method
- In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, mix the sugar, butter, marshmallow cream and milk.
- Bring to a bubbling, quick boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce to medium heat when bubbles appear all over the top; stir 6 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the chocolate pieces.
- Stir until chocolate is completely melted and blended into mixture.
- Add the vanilla and the nuts.
- Pop into greased pan.
- Cool thoroughly.
- Makes approximately 2 1/4 pounds.
