Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger (lean)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 large carrots, chopped and diced fine
  • 2 large or 3 small potatoes, chopped and diced fine
  • 1 large can red kidney beans with juice
  • 2 small cans white beans, drained
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 3 small cans tomato sauce

Method

  • Brown hamburger, drain grease.
  • Saute in the onion, garlic and pepper until tender.
  • Throw in all other ingredients.
  • Simmer for at least 2 hours (stirring pretty often) until carrots and potatoes are tender.
