- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger (lean)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 large carrots, chopped and diced fine
- 2 large or 3 small potatoes, chopped and diced fine
- 1 large can red kidney beans with juice
- 2 small cans white beans, drained
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 3 small cans tomato sauce
Method
- Brown hamburger, drain grease.
- Saute in the onion, garlic and pepper until tender.
- Throw in all other ingredients.
- Simmer for at least 2 hours (stirring pretty often) until carrots and potatoes are tender.
