Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped carrots
- 2 c. chopped beets
- water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. beef stock
- 1 c. finely shredded cabbage
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Method
- Barely cover carrots and beets with water, simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
- Add butter, beef stock, cabbage and vinegar. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
