Ingredients
- 1 whole fryer
- 1 (12 oz) can of beer
- salt pepper
- Tony Chachere's
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- seasoned salt
Method
- Use beer at room temperature.
- Pour about a inch out and place can upright on cookie sheet.
- Cut any excess fat off of chicken.
- Cover chicken with spices listed above.
- Place bottom open cavity of chicken on beer.
- Cook on grill on low for at least one hour or place on cookie sheet in oven (350) for an hour. Yeast in beer moistens chicken.
- Remove chicken carefully from oven and use tongs to remove from can.
