Ingredients

  • 1 whole fryer
  • 1 (12 oz) can of beer
  • salt pepper
  • Tony Chachere's
  • onion powder
  • garlic powder
  • seasoned salt

Method

  • Use beer at room temperature.
  • Pour about a inch out and place can upright on cookie sheet.
  • Cut any excess fat off of chicken.
  • Cover chicken with spices listed above.
  • Place bottom open cavity of chicken on beer.
  • Cook on grill on low for at least one hour or place on cookie sheet in oven (350) for an hour. Yeast in beer moistens chicken.
  • Remove chicken carefully from oven and use tongs to remove from can.
