- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. dry sherry (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. ground ginger
- 3/4 lb. beef flank steak strips
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 3 c. bite size vegetables (broccoli, red or green peppers)
- 1 1/2 c. beef broth
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- Minute rice (white)
Method
- Mix soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar and seasonings; add beef, let stand 10 minutes to marinate.
- Stir fry beef in hot oil in skillet until browned.
- Add vegetables; stir-fry until tender-crisp.
- Mix broth and cornstarch, add to skillet.
- Bring to boil for 1 minute.
- Prepare rice according to package.
- Serve meat mixture over rice.
