Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. shortening
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 c. buttermilk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 2/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. crushed potato chips
  • 2 c. ground roast

Method

  • Mix together brown sugar and shortening.
  • Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
  • Sift together flour, soda and salt.
  • Combine dry ingredients with batter and stir in potato chips and ground roast. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
  • Bake about 10 minutes (or until slightly brown) in a 400° oven.
