Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Bottled Cheese Spread (Cheez Whiz)
  • 2 teaspoons Chopped And Seeded Canned Chipotle Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoons Each Of Salt And Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 package (397g Package) Puff Pastry, Thawed But Cold
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 Tablespoon Water

Method

  • Note: double the above ingredients if using 2 sheets of puff pastry.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • In a bowl mix together the cheese spread, chipotle pepper, salt, pepper and sugar.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pastry sheet to 14 x 11 inches.
  • Spread mixture evenly over the pastry.
  • Starting at the long end, roll up and then put in the freezer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Remove from the freezer and trim ends.
  • Cut into 1/2-inch slices and place cut side down on a parchment paper-lined cookie sheet.
  • Brush tops lightly with egg and water mixture.
  • Bake 15-17 minutes till golden.
  • So yummy!
