Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, diced
- 3 lb. sirloin tip roast
- 1 1/2 c. flour, seasoned with 2 tsp. freshly ground salt and 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans beef consomme
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 3 c. dry red Burgundy
Method
- In large skillet, cook bacon crisply and remove to large platter.
