Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 c. sliced onions
  • 1 c. Uncle Ben's converted brand rice
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth water
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce or to taste
  • 2 green peppers, coarsely chopped
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar sliced pimientos, drained

Method

  • Brown beef in oil in 10-inch skillet.
  • Stir in onions, rice, beef broth, one soup can of water and soy sauce.
  • Bring to boil, reduce heat and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 25 minutes. Stir in green peppers and pimientos.
  • Heat through.
  • Makes 4 to 6 servings.
