Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in strips
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 1 c. Uncle Ben's converted brand rice
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce or to taste
- 2 green peppers, coarsely chopped
- 1 (2 oz.) jar sliced pimientos, drained
Method
- Brown beef in oil in 10-inch skillet.
- Stir in onions, rice, beef broth, one soup can of water and soy sauce.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and cook until liquid is absorbed, about 25 minutes. Stir in green peppers and pimientos.
- Heat through.
- Makes 4 to 6 servings.
