Ingredients
- 2 cans cut green beans
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1 can French fried onions
- salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste
Method
- Cook beans and onion in fresh water for 30 minutes.
- Dilute soup as directed and combine with other ingredients except the French fried onions.
- Add soup mixture to drained beans; place in casserole and bake in oven at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Cover with French fried onions and brown.
- This casserole is great with any kind of meat dish.
- Serves 6.
