Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten well
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin, softened in 1/4 c. cold water
- 2 c. milk
Method
- Combine all ingredients in top of a double boiler and cook over boiling water, stirring constantly, until mixture coats a spoon.
- Cool.
- When it begins to set, add 1/2 pint whipping cream, which has been whipped with 1 teaspoon almond flavoring.
- Mix well and refrigerate.
- Allow mixture to congeal.
