- 1 (1 lb.) can green beans, drained
- 1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 medium purple onion
- 1 (5 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/3 c. apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- celery salt (optional)
Method
- Combine vinegar, sugar, olive oil, soy sauce and celery salt. Pour over beans, onion and water chestnuts.
- Marinate overnight. Serves 6.
