Ingredients
- 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, crushed
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
Method
- Stir together all ingredients in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low, and cook, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes.
