Ingredients
- 3 lb. spareribs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 c. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. mustard
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
Method
- In baking pan, brown ribs on both sides.
- In a saucepan add butter.
- Cook onion until tender.
- Add the remaining ingredients and cook slowly until flavors are blended, about 10 to 15 minutes, then pour sauce over browned ribs.
- Cover tightly and bake in oven (350°) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender.
