Ingredients
- 2 (15 oz.) cans green beans, drained
- 4 slices bacon, cut fine
- 1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
Method
- Brown bacon slightly.
- Add onion and fry until bacon is crisp. Add catsup and brown sugar and blend well, including all bacon fat. Simmer 2 minutes.
- Pour over green beans in an oblong cake pan or casserole.
- Do not stir.
- Bake uncovered 45 minutes at 350°. Serves 6 to 8.
