- 1/2 c. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/8 tsp. dried marjoram
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 c. dry red wine
- 1 Tbsp. prepared steak sauce
Method
- Combine ingredients in order listed in medium mixing bowl. For use as a marinade, marinate meats of 1 to 2-inch thickness for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours at room temperature, turning once.
- For use as a barbecue sauce, brush meats or poultry frequently with this sauce during the cooking time.
- This sauce may be stored 1 week in a covered jar in the refrigerator.
