Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/8 tsp. dried marjoram
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. dry red wine
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared steak sauce

Method

  • Combine ingredients in order listed in medium mixing bowl. For use as a marinade, marinate meats of 1 to 2-inch thickness for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours at room temperature, turning once.
  • For use as a barbecue sauce, brush meats or poultry frequently with this sauce during the cooking time.
  • This sauce may be stored 1 week in a covered jar in the refrigerator.
