Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 5 1/4 tablespoons butter
- 4 bananas ripe
- 1 3/8 cups brown sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- salt
- 1 3/8 cups flour
Method
- Toast the sesame seeds in a non-stick skillet.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Grease a bread pan with butter.
- Mash the bananas in a large bowl.
- Mix in the butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Add the baking soda, a pinch of salt, and sesame seeds.
- Stir in the flour.
- Pour the mixture into the bread pan, and bake for about 1 hour.
- Remove from oven, cool on a rack, and serve with a bit of butter.
