Ingredients

  • 6 slices rye bread
  • 13 cup butter or 13 cup margarine
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 6 cooked turkey, slices
  • 6 (1 ounce) cooked ham, slices
  • 6 tomatoes, slices
  • 1 green pepper, sliced into 6 rings
  • 6 (1 ounce) cheddar cheese, slices

Method

  • heat broiler.
  • in small bowl stir together butter and horseradish.
  • spread butter mixture on toast.
  • layer each slice toast with 1 slice turkey, 1 slice ham, 1 slice tomato and 1 slice green pepper.
  • place sandwichs on cookie sheet.
  • broil 3 to 4 "inch from heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until sandwiches are heated through.
  • top with cheese, broil 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • serve while hot.
