- 12 chowder-size hard clams in shells or 1 (12 oz.) can hard clams
- 1/4 stick margarine
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/8 tsp. oregano
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- few drops hot sauce
Method
- Drain and chop clams.
- Melt margarine or butter in pan.
- Add rest of ingredients.
- If mixture is too dry, moisten with water. Fill 1/2 clam shells or any ovenproof dishes with clam mixture. Bake at 400° until hot and bubbly for 10 to 15 minutes.
