Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 6 to 8 chicken breasts, boned
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 4 Tbsp. sherry wine
  • 1 small can mushrooms (and the liquid)

Method

  • Dredge chicken breasts in a mixture of the first 4 ingredients. Melt 1 stick margarine in a baking pan and place chicken breasts therein.
  • Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and cover with the soup, wine and mushrooms with liquid.
  • Bake at 400° until bubbling, then turn oven to 300°.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and cook for 1 hour.
