Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 6 to 8 slices bread, cubed
  • 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 5 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • butter

Method

  • Crumble sausage and cook until brown; drain grease.
  • Butter a 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish.
  • Place bread cubes on bottom.
  • Sprinkle sausage over bread.
  • Mix in bowl rest of ingredients and pour over sausage.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake at 350°, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
