Ingredients

  • 3 (16 ounce) cans pork and beans
  • 1 medium size onion, chopped
  • 23 cup barbecue sauce
  • 12 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked (optional)

Method

  • If doing this in an oven, combine all ingredients put in a baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Set oven to 300, let it cook for 45 to 55 minutes.
  • If using a crock pot, again combine all the ingredients in the crock pot and set it on low and let it slow cook for 2 1/2 hours to 3 hours.
  • I prefer the crock pot because it has more flavor then if cooked in the oven but can be done either way.
