Ingredients
- 1 lb. sausage or bacon
- 6 to 8 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sharp cheese, grated
- 4 to 6 slices bread, cubed
Method
- Saute sausage or bacon and drain.
- Grease 9 x 13-inch casserole and put bread cubes in bottom of casserole.
- Crumble sausage or bacon over bread.
- Beat eggs, milk, mustard and salt together and pour over meat.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or freeze.
- Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
- (Takes about an hour whether frozen or not.)
- Serves 8.
