Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage or bacon
  • 6 to 8 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sharp cheese, grated
  • 4 to 6 slices bread, cubed

Method

  • Saute sausage or bacon and drain.
  • Grease 9 x 13-inch casserole and put bread cubes in bottom of casserole.
  • Crumble sausage or bacon over bread.
  • Beat eggs, milk, mustard and salt together and pour over meat.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight or freeze.
  • Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
  • (Takes about an hour whether frozen or not.)
  • Serves 8.
