- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney or red beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can green lima beans, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans, drained
- 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans (not drained)
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 4 large onions, chopped
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 lb. diced bacon, fried crisp
Method
- Mix all beans together.
- Set aside.
- Simmer 15 minutes over low heat vinegar and brown sugar, stirring occasionally.
- Brown bacon.
- Remove bacon from grease.
- Set aside.
- Add to grease (use your own judgment) onions, garlic powder and mustard.
- Brown lightly.
- Mix all ingredients.
- Put in casserole dish.
- Bake 1 hour at 350°, uncovered.
