Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can kidney or red beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can green lima beans, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans, drained
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans (not drained)
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 4 large onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 lb. diced bacon, fried crisp

Method

  • Mix all beans together.
  • Set aside.
  • Simmer 15 minutes over low heat vinegar and brown sugar, stirring occasionally.
  • Brown bacon.
  • Remove bacon from grease.
  • Set aside.
  • Add to grease (use your own judgment) onions, garlic powder and mustard.
  • Brown lightly.
  • Mix all ingredients.
  • Put in casserole dish.
  • Bake 1 hour at 350°, uncovered.
