Ingredients

  • 2 c. fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted
  • 1/4 c. shortening, melted

Method

  • Grease 10-inch pie plate. Spread cranberries over bottom of plate; sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar, then nuts. Beat eggs well; add 1 cup sugar. Beat thoroughly. Add flour, margarine and shortening. Beat well. Pour batter over cranberries. Bake at 325° for 60 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream.
