Ingredients
- 5 c. peeled, cored and sliced baking apples
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Place apples in a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
- Add water.
- Combine the flour, sugar, butter, cinnamon and salt together in your food processor or by rubbing with your fingers until fine crumbs are formed.
- Spread the mixture over the apples. Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes uncovered.
- Serve cold topped with ice cream.
