Ingredients

  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 piece Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Fish sauce or soy sauce
  • 1 dash Salt

Method

  • Cut the avocado into bite-sized pieces.
  • Finely chop the ginger.
  • Put the olive oil and cumin seeds in a small frying pan.
  • Put on a low heat and fry, taking care not to burn it.
  • When the cumin starts to pop, add the chopped ginger, and fry until fragrant.
  • Once it is fragrant, add the coriander and garam masala, and lightly fry.
  • Turn the heat up to high and add the avocado.
  • Mix it quickly and then add the lemon juice and nam pla.
  • Fry together while shaking the pan back and forth.
  • Once everything has been combined, have a taste, and season with a little salt.
  • Done!
