- 8 medium size apples, cored and sliced (peeling optional)
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. rolled oats
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. unsalted butter, softened
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a 2-quart baking dish, toss together the apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar and salt.
