Ingredients
- 4 c. sliced apples (peeled and cored)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/3 c. flour
- 2/3 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. quick oats
- 1/3 c. melted butter
Method
- Place apples in greased 8 X 8 X 2-inch pan.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and oats.
- Add melted butter.
- Mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle over apples.
- Bake at 375° for about 25 to 30 minutes or until apples are tender and top is brown.
- Ready to eat warm or cool.
- The recipe can be doubled.
