Ingredients

  • 6 apples, cored, peeled and sliced (I use McIntosh)
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 c. margarine, softened

Method

  • Place apples in 8 x 8 x 2-inch microsafe dish.
  • Combine 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon flour in bowl.
  • Toss with apples to coat.
  • Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon in mixing bowl.
  • Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
  • Sprinkle over apples.
  • Cook on Full power for 11 to 13 minutes, or until apples are tender.
