Ingredients

  • Oil
  • 4 med Tart apples
  • 1/2 c. Sugar Grated rind and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 dsh cinnamon
  • 5 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3/4 c. Natural cereal with nuts and fruits

Method

  • Grease side of 3 1/2 qt Crock-Pot lightly with oil.
  • Core, peel and slice apples; place in Crock-Pot.
  • Add in sugar, lemon rind, lemon juice and cinnamon.
  • Combine butter and cereal.
  • Add in to Crock-Pot; mix thoroughly.
  • Cover.
  • Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hrs or possibly High for 2 to 3 hrs.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream or possibly whipped topping, if you like.
