Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 slices bread, slightly wet with water
  • 1 c. condensed mushroom soup
  • 2 Tbsp. mayo

Method

  • In skillet, grease bottom of pan with 2 tablespoons mayo.
  • Mix hamburger, onion, salt and pepper in bowl and mix well.
  • Take 2 slices of bread and mix with a little water until moist, then pinch off pieces and put into mixture.
  • Stir all together and make into little balls.
  • Brown both sides until done in middle, then add 1 cup of water to mushroom soup in a bowl and stir.
  • Pour over meatballs and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
