Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. cocoa
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 c. milk
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Mix dry ingredients with milk.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickens.
- Beat egg yolk and add small amount of mixture.
- Return to pot and cook until thick.
- Remove from heat, add salt and vanilla and pour into baked pie crust.
- Add meringue. Bake until brown.
