Ingredients
- 12 egg whites
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Beat egg whites until very stiff.
- Add sugar gradually. Continue beating until very, very stiff.
- Add salt and vanilla. Drop by large heaping tablespoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Using back of spoon, make indentation to hold whipped cream.
- Bake in 250° (slow) oven about 1 hour.
