Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1-1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup green and red pepper, chopped
- 3/4 cup celery, chopped
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 can (14 oz.) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (14 oz.) tomato puree
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1-1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 3/4 lb. elbow macaroni, cooked
Method
- Brown ground beef in a large pan.
- Add the onions, celery, and peppers and saute.
- Drain off the fat.
- Add puree and crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add cooked elbow macaroni and heat through.
