Ingredients

  • 7/8 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 5 9/16 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 egg
  • 4 3/4 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 1/3 tablespoons butter
  • salt
  • vanilla extract
  • 11/16 cup almonds

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler.
  • Place the flour and the cocoa on a work surface (or in a bowl), place the egg, sugar, butter, a pinch of salt, and a couple of drops of vanilla in the center.
  • Combine the ingredients well into a dough with a uniform consistency.
  • Add the chocolate and the almonds.
  • Use a spoon to scoop out small round shapes (the shapes will be irregular) and place the cookies on a baking sheet which has been buttered and floured or lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 13 to 15 minutes.
