Ingredients

  • 3 c. whipping cream or Cool Whip
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 2 pkg. Knox unflavored gelatine
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 graham cracker crusts
  • 1 Hershey chocolate bar

Method

  • Mix sugar, milk and 4 egg yolks. Cook over low heat until thick. Dissolve gelatine in 1/2 cup warm water; add to other mixture. Add 2 tablespoons vanilla; set aside to cool. Beat egg whites and beat cream. Add both of these to cooked mixture. Put into crust quickly. Grate Hershey chocolate bar on top. Chill overnight. Makes 2 pies.
