Ingredients
- 2 lb. beef stew (raw)
- 1/2 c. white or rye bread, broken into small pieces
- 1 c. celery, cut up
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. tapioca
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes (liquid included)
- 3 onions, cut up
- 6 carrots, cut up
Method
- Combine all ingredients in large covered casserole.
- Put in a 250° oven and forget it for 5 hours or until meat is tender.
- It gets nice and brown and is delicious.
